The market showed a small loss mercredi, and AEX-index (AEX) ended the day at 859 points, which is a decline of 0.4 percent.

34 shares showed a gain and 73 showed a loss. 11 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 12 shares.

ABN AMRO Bank N.V. (ABN) developed negatively and fell 0.5 percent to a close of 14.76 euro. L'action has not closed at a lower price since août 12. L'action has thereby closed down six out of the past seven days. It does, however, look good technically. L'action is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.
Arcadis (ARCAD) lost 1.5 percent to 61.10 euro. This past week l'action has lost as much as 5.3 percent. L'action broke down through the support at 61.80 euro in formation double sommet. This triggered a sell signal on increasing volume and a further drop to 57.41 euro within four months is indicated.
Randstad NV (RAND) closed down 1.7 percent to 40.65 euro. L'action has not closed lower since séptembre 12. Nor technically does it look good. L'action is trend wise negative in the medium term and a further decline is indicated.
ASML Holding NV (ASML) declined slightly 1.3 percent and ended the day at 617 euro. L'action has now fallen for the fourth day in a row. It does not look good technically either. L'action is trend wise negative in the medium term and a further decline is indicated.

Euronext Brussel weakly higher mercredi
The market showed a small gain mercredi, and Bel20 (BEL20) ended the day at 4137 points, which is an increase of 0.5 percent.

US 500 approximately even on mercredi
S&P 500 (SP500) moved more or less horizontally on mercredi and closed at 5917 points (+0.0 percent).

L'indice rencontre du support à environ 4030 points et de la résistance à environ 4330 points. La courbe RSI montre une tendance baissière, ce qui est le signal précurseur d'un éventuel changement de tendance. L'indice est généralement considéré comme neutre technique pour moyen long terme.
S&P 500

S&P 500 progresse fortement dans un canal haussier. Pour la suite, la progression reste bien orientée et il y a du support en bas du canal haussier. L'indice a un support à environ 5670 points. Le RSI diverge négativement par rapport au prix, ce qui indique un danger possible d'une réaction à la baisse. L'indice est généralement considéré comme positif technique pour moyen long terme.
