Helsingin pörssi turned downwards

The market showed a small loss Thursday, and OMX Helsinki ended the day at 9567 points, which is a decline of 0.4 percent. The index thereby reversed down after five days of gains. This past month the index has lost as much as 10.4 percent.

75 shares showed a gain and 88 showed a loss. 11 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 4 shares.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates Thursday was approximately 0.3 billion.

Mandatum Oyj closed at 5.99 euro after a small gain of 0.4 percent. The stock has by that gained 28.5 percent since the buy signal from the rectangle formation three months ago.

Outokumpu showed a small gain and ended the day at 3.20 euro, which is an increase of 0.3 percent. The stock has now closed up for the sixth day in a row and this past week the stock has gained as much as 7.7 percent. Technically, however, it does not look good. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term and a further decline is indicated.

Kojamo was up 2.1 percent to close at 9.73 euro. The stock has not closed higher since Feb 11. The stock has thereby closed up ten out of the past 13 days and this past month the stock has gained as much as 17.5 percent. Technically, however, it does not look good. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term and a further decline is indicated.

Huhtamäki increased slightly 0.4 percent and ended the day at 32.26 euro. The stock has thereby closed up seven out of the past eight days. It does, however, not look good technically. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term, has resistance at 33.50 euro and a further decline is indicated.

TietoEVRY showed a small loss and ended the day at 15.75 euro, which is a decline of 0.7 percent. The stock thereby reversed down after five days of gains. This past month the stock has lost as much as 20.8 percent. Nor does it look good technically. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term, has resistance at 16.50 euro and a further decline is indicated.
