Stockholmsbörsen sharply lower

The market dropped considerably Friday, and OMX Stockholm PI closed at 874 points after a decline of 4.2 percent. The index has never lost more in one day since Jan 24. 2022, when it was down 4.4 percent. The week as a whole showed a loss of 9.1 percent. The index is with that down 8.9 percent after the sell signal from the rectangle formation four days ago.

172 shares showed a gain and 770 showed a loss. 50 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 39 shares.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates Friday was approximately 43.0 billion.

Volvo B closed down 4.2 percent to 245 kronor. The stock thereby broke the earlier bottom it set Jan 3 and reached a new year-low. The stock has thereby closed down seven out of the past eight days and this past month the stock has lost as much as 20.0 percent. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term.
SEB A fell sharply to close at 137 kronor, down 6.1 percent. The previous time the stock lost this much was Feb 24. 2022, when it closed down 6.5 percent. Nor does it look good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, but has broken down through support at 139 kronor.
EQT ended with a steep loss of 12.5 percent and closed at 257 kronor. The stock has never lost more in one day since Apr 26. 2022, when it was down 12.9 percent. The stock has thereby closed down seven out of the past nine days. The volume was also high. At session end it was bought and sold shares for about 1268 million kronor in the stock, which equals five times mean daily turnover. It does not look good technically either. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term, has resistance at 288 kronor and a further decline is indicated.
Evolution showed a small loss and ended the day at 731 kronor, which is a decline of 1.2 percent. The stock has now fallen for the eighth day in a row. It does not look good technically either. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term, has resistance at 940 kronor and a further decline is indicated.
Boliden fell sharply to close at 286 kronor, down 6.3 percent. We must go back to Jul 19. 2024 to find an equally steep drop. That time the stock lost 8.8 percent. This past week the stock has lost as much as 15.6 percent. Nor does it look good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term, but has marginally broken down through support at 287 kronor.
