Oslo Børs sharply lower

The market dropped considerably Thursday, and Hovedindeksen closed at 1470 points after a decline of 2.0 percent. The index has never lost more in one day since Mar 4, when it was down 3.0 percent. This past week the index has lost as much as 4.2 percent.

78 shares showed a gain and 205 showed a loss. 19 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 14 shares.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates Thursday was approximately 7.3 billion.

Equinor fell sharply to close at 263 kroner, down 5.1 percent. The previous time the stock lost this much was Feb 7. 2024, when it closed down 7.8 percent. It does not look good technically either. The stock has broken down through support at 266 kroner.
DNB Bank fell sharply to close at 263 kroner, down 3.7 percent. We must go back to Aug 5. 2024 to find an equally steep drop. That time the stock lost 4.0 percent. The stock has now fallen for the fifth day in a row. It does, however, look good technically. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.
Aker BP ended with a steep loss of 6.7 percent and closed at 229 kroner. The stock has never lost more in one day since Sep 23. 2022, when it was down 8.6 percent. Nor does it look good technically. The stock is trend wise negative in the medium term, has broken down through support at 232 kroner and a further decline is indicated.
Ensurge Micropower ended with a solid gain of 27.6 percent and closed at 1.49 kroner. We must go back to Feb 20. 2024 to find an equally strong rise. That time the stock gained 77.7 percent. The volume was also very high. At session end it was bought and sold shares for about 60 million kroner in the stock, which equals 18 times mean daily turnover. Technically it also looks good. The stock is assessed as technically slightly positive for the medium long term.
Yara International closed down 1.7 percent to 303 kroner. The stock thereby broke the earlier bottom it set Jan 2 and reached a new year-low. The stock broke down through the support at 305 kroner in rectangle formation. This triggered a sell signal and a further drop to 251 kroner within 17 months is indicated.
