New low for the year on CDAX!

The market showed a negative development Monday, and Cdax-Gesamtindex (Perf) ended the day at 1693 points, which is a decline of 3.8 percent. The index thereby broke the earlier bottom it set Jan 3 and reached a new year-low. The index has now closed down for the fourth day in a row and this past month the index has lost as much as 15.5 percent.

55 shares showed a gain and 218 showed a loss. 12 shares were unchanged and closed at the same price as the previous day. There was no trading in 17 shares.

Total value of the trading volume for shares and primary capital certificates Monday was approximately 15.8 billion.

Siemens AG showed a negative development and ended the day at 177 euro, which is a decline of 4.9 percent. The stock thereby broke the earlier bottom it set Jan 3 and reached a new year-low. This past week the stock has lost as much as 16.7 percent. It does not look good technically either. The stock is assessed as technically slightly negative for the medium long term.
Muenchener Rueckversicherungs-Gesellscha closed at 520 euro after a steep drop of 7.0 percent. The previous time the stock lost this much was Sep 21. 2020, when it closed down 7.1 percent. It was also high volume. Overall it was traded for 517 millions euro in the stock, which is four times as much as normal daily turnover. Technically, however, it looks good. The stock is trend wise positive in the medium term and a further increase is indicated.
Infineon Technologies AG developed negatively and fell 4.1 percent to a close of 25.11 euro. The stock has now fallen for the fourth day in a row. Since the sell signal from the rectangle formation two days ago, the stock now has lost 12.4 percent. It was also high volume. Overall it was traded for 439 millions euro in the stock, which is three times as much as normal daily turnover.
Volkswagen AG ZC PRF PERPETUAL EUR closed down 2.3 percent to 85.48 euro. The stock thereby broke the earlier bottom it set Jan 3 and reached a new year-low. The stock has now fallen for the fourth day in a row and this past month the stock has lost as much as 22.1 percent.
Deutsche Post AG ended with a steep loss of 3.7 percent and closed at 33.67 euro. The stock has now fallen for the fourth day in a row and this past month the stock has lost as much as 23.9 percent.
