Short term

This signals increasing pessimism among investors and indicates further decline for Euronext PSI20. An inverse head and shoulders formation is under development. A decisive break of the resistance at 6438, ideally with an increase in volume, signals a further rise. The index has support at points 6300 and resistance at points 6460. The index is overall assessed as technically slightly negative for the short term.

Medium term

Euronext PSI20 has broken through the floor of a rising trend channel in the medium long term. This indicates a slower rising rate at first, or the start of a more horizontal development. The index is moving within a rectangle formation between support at 6281 and resistance at 6762. A decisive break through one of these levels indicates the new direction for the index. The index is approacing resistance at 6460 points, which may give a negative reaction. However, a break upwards through 6460 points will be a positive signal. The index is overall assessed as technically negative for the medium long term.

Long term

Euronext PSI20 has broken the floor of the rising trend channel in the long term, which indicates a weaker initial rising rate. The price has reacted back after a false break of the rectangle formation. A significant penetration of 6398 will again give new negative signals to the index, while a break of the opposite side of the formation will be a strong positive signal. The index is testing support at points 6300. This could give a positive reaction, but a downward breakthrough of points 6300 means a negative signal. The index is overall assessed as technically neutral for the long term.
